ABOUT

I was commissioned to oversee and manage crucial aspects of the marketing campaign, as well as create the marketing visuals and event materials for 'A Time to Breathe' (ATTB) 2021. ATTB is an exciting new festival that celebrates music, poetry, and dance, curated and produced by the esteemed Greta Mendez MBE, an award-winning director, producer, and choreographer. It was co-produced by James Scotland, the founder of the Khaos theatre company.

I meticulously developed the festival's visual identity and style to authentically represent the marginalized and excluded narratives and experiences of black culture, using a color palette consisting of brown, deep red, and blue. Despite this focus, the festival maintained its core emphasis on the unique selling proposition (USP) of a diverse and cross-genre lineup.

The inaugural ATTB proved to be a resounding success, attracting a diverse audience of over 500 attendees throughout the five-day event.
