Adventure x are a team dedicated to providing the best in adventure holidays across the world and specialising in the extreme. Whilst I was working as a freelance graphic designer I was approached by the founder of an adventure holiday company which specialises in trips for groups of people looking to see the world and get involved in extreme sports such as white water rafting, rock climbing, mountain biking and much more.

This was a very exciting project to work on, the client was looking for a responsive website which would inspire customers by the locations Adventure X travel to and the events they can arrange. I was able to design a website which pushed the Adventure X brand with the use of original photography from the clients many trips across the world as well as using bold colours and typography. I created a set of custom icons for the website and the feature was an interactive map in which customers could easily see where they could visit and what activities they could do.

There was a need for the website to be responsive to make it easy for customers to browse the site on any device and book a trip wherever they are. The current website was old and outdated and it was a great chance to introduce the client to new technologies in the web and show them what was possible. Working on this project not only was a great experience in design but it also developed my skills in working directly with the client, meeting with them regularly to present work, take their feedback and return with results which the client was happy with.
