Beach London London

ABOUT

Beach worked with Lazy Oaf's creative team to create a formal exhibition celebrating Lazy Oaf's history and heritage within art, design, and illustration, for their 15th Anniversary. Alongside a typical private view event (including complimentary drinks and food) for media types and high-profile customers, there should also be an event celebrating Lazy Oaf's unusual pathway from illustration, into fashion. Pieces from the show would, to appeal to Lazy Oaf's fan-base, be very 'shareable'. The space must also accommodate a retail area to sell pieces from Oaf's latest collection.

The exhibition generated lots of good press for the brand: It was featured on Time Out's blog (4.6 million unique monthly users) and Twitter (1.14 million followers), Creative Review's blog and Twitter (with 293k monthly users and 1.43 million followers) and Wonderland Magazine's blog with 143k monthly users. There was also a number of high-profile bloggers who posted about it, notably influential fashion designer Fred Butler (11k Instagram followers) and blogger Nina Nesbitt (187k followers). Sales generated from at the event also comfortably covered the costs of holding the exhibition.
