Design and brand consultancy WPA Pinfold have been scouring the bins and have been creating works of art out of trash.

The consultancy hosted almost 100 clients at an invite-only event at Northern Monk where guests were presented with innovative and unique works of art and were treated to zero waste canapés by executive chef Annabel Cole.

Guests placed bids on the artwork throughout the evening and they could also treat themselves to limited-edition merchandise including tote bags and a limited-edition beer. As well as the event, the consultancy ran a teaser campaign and created an online version of the event for those that couldn’t attend in person.

The event has raised at least £10k for Inter Care, a charity which resupplies surplus UK medical equipment to communities across Africa.
