ABOUT

Nespresso wanted to cultivate a new generation of customers. Their sponsorship activites focus around two pillars: Film and gastronomy. As part of their Film activations they have a long association with the Cannes Film Festival. They wanted to leverage this strength with a new sponsorship activation that extended to the Berlinale, supported young talent and championed innovation. We proposed a vertical film contest and an associated campaign to generate interest and break through the noise.

The films created were truly innovative and were great talking points. The contest itself generated great content and a tremendous response from the short filmmaking community, with over 380 films submitted, the best response Userfarm has ever had. The launch at Berlinale and the winners announcement at Cannes gave Nespresso's sponsorship a much more meaningful connection to the festivals. The commissioned content, the contest entries and the announcements around the vertical contest provided tremendous content for local markets to leverage as well.
