Myself and the team worked with our facilities department and an external contractor to define a new look and feel for a new office for the National Audit Office. This was a multi-faceted collaborative project that had to meet a brief of being creative, engaging, dynamic, pleasant to work in, accessible and diverse - whilst also representing value for money and sustainable design. We defined the styles, materials and colours used for carpets, sound barriers, doors, kitchens, worktops, furniture, podsa and breakout areas. We considered aspects such as worker's journey through different areas of the open plan office space - creating defined zones for different activities without putting actual walls up.
