This year was also an important one for our planet. As we approach the dawn of a new ecological age, Planet Earth 3 was set to remind audiences how our planet is changing.

Our campaign ‘Enter A New Wild’ pulled in audiences in their droves. Making it the most successful ‘factual title of 2023’ on iPlayer. Search volume for ‘Planet Earth’ increased by +700% post launch, and a massive 9.2m tuned in for the first episode which is 10% of the country watching it within 24 hours of release. But we didn't stop there, and launched a new BBC sustainability initiative to support the campaign, and our planet.

We took the voice of Sir David Attenborough - the globally renowned ‘voice of nature’ - and used it to encourage the rest of us to speak up on behalf of our planet. Our campaign aired after the final episode of Planet Earth 3 and was supported across the BBC. On social media we launched the initiative with the help of Dua Lipa, Jennifer Saunders, Gary Linker, Suranne Jones, Ian Wright, DJ Target and many more famous faces, and more importantly voices. The message simple, ‘Become A Voice For Nature’.
