About me

Mel (she/her) is a set and costume designer and artist who uses her background in fine art to research and create new worlds onstage. Text analysis is a key aspect of Mel's designing process, inspiring and developing her ideas with a focus on history, politics and interpersonal relationships within the performance. With a love for historical fashion, she enjoys working on period shows. Previous design credits include Your Own Your Very Own, Furious! The Ballad of '72 and Tennessee Williams Triple Bill.
