ABOUT

We know that child sexual abuse is a topic people don't want to think about, or believe doesn’t affect them and their family, friends, workplaces and communities.

When they do suspect something isn’t right, their fear of getting it wrong can stop them from doing anything about it. They might go against their instincts that things aren’t right and stay silent.

We want to show that the Helpline is a place to talk about their concerns or suspicions and say something. However small the worry. Whatever the circumstances. The Helpline can help.
We want them to feel that taking action is what they must do – that this is the right thing.
It is urgent. It’s not hopeless. It could be life-changing for a child who is experiencing sexual abuse.
