About me
Hi. I'm a totally blind singer/songwriter, lyricist, session vocalist, earcon/stinger composer and I teach lyric-writing. I also make SFZ instruments.
I started songwriting in 2010, took a break in 2015 and then restarted in 2020. I got my first paid collaboration gig in April 2022, and was a semi-finalist in the UK Songwriting Contest the same year.
Following this, I was invited to audition for Sound Wave in February 2023. I was also in the Greatfield Community Choir in 2024, and All For One Choir, led by Helen Garnett, in 2025. My best friend and I wrote a Christmas song in 2025 for his local church's Nativity service.
Currently, I'm in my local church's worship band, helping to lead the music for Sunday services. I'm also doing session vocals for three different collaborators working across progressive rock, cover/tribute and pop genres. This involves recording lead, harmony and counter-melody vocals. I can also provide advice on mixing tracks. Being passionate about web, app and plugin accessibility, I do usability testing for People For Research, and can provide a web testing service for music-specific content. I also attend music discussions with Tonic Music for under-represented people in the industry.
