Dear Sir/Madam,

I am passionate about digital and print media and have geared my recent work experience

towards a career in this exciting and rapidly growing industry. I have an experience of

almost 9 years in Media industry. I have worked for well-known media groups like Times of

India and India Today Group.

My key responsibilities include formatting and proofreading content before publication,

creating and maintaining publishing schedules, and sourcing and cropping photos and other

graphical content. I was working for Mensxp, an online website by Times Group for

Men. MensXP is a 21st century online community which explores the needs and wants

of men like no other publication has. In accordance with the same, I looked after the "Auto

& Bike" section of the website. Not only generating content for the website, I was involved

in getting ads for the website. I was also working for AUTOPORTAL.COM. It's an online

portal for automotive news, articles and reviews. I was holding the designation of Features

Editor for the same. My work included writing feature stories, editing and proof reading of

all the articles. I have also worked with ITAS Media, a joint venture of India Today Group,

India and Axel Springer AG, Germany since 2008 for the magazine AUTOBILD, India. My

work included handling the International section (translation of German edition of

Autobild). I also contributed by writing feature stories for different sections of the magazine.

I hold professional experience of using content management system such as Adtech and

Wordpress over the years. I was involved in direct management of web content via CMS

software's that included format management, editing, indexing and web publishing and

embedding pictures, videos and audio content to feature articles. I have designed content

key features that can be sent via email to promote web content and marketing strategy. I

also created an effective information architecture on the basis of content structure and

business requirements, captured the right terminology and evaluated the output. While

working for different web portals, I gained experience in analysing website data and the

usage of the same. My work included monitoring the content and conducting analysis to

pick trends from website hits. I also made ensure the web content reflects feedback from

web analytics. I analysed the traffic on the website and also helped the content team in

improving the effectiveness of the website.

I am strong minded and have the capability to multitask and work under immense pressure.

I have demonstrated in my previous jobs a keen interest in taking initiative and work

collaboratively in a team with great ambition to succeed.

I have completed my eMBA from IMT-Ghaziabad in 2007. I did a dual-specialisation in

Finance and Marketing. I graduated in Commerce from Delhi University. I have also

completed an extensive course in German language (C1+Wirtschaftdeutsch+Ü

bersetzungkurs) from Goethe Institute. Level - fluent in German language.

Also, I hold work settlement visa for United Kingdom. My resume is attached and I look
