About me

I am a crusader for positive disruption. Because ultimately, disruption is creation, and the process of creation and growth thrills me.

Today disruption is a much-abused cliché. It's a proxy for destructive business practices or a catch-all to defend investing in the latest shiny marketing bauble. That's not my definition or ambition.

I believe there are some fundamental challenges which face us as leaders and marketers. We aren't merely evolving through tech, we are changing the structure of the world- the way we live, work, and play and what we value and what we don't. These are deeply human challenges and require human-centred disruption that isn't always grounded in data, best practices, and precedent. They require disruptive answers that are vulnerable, agile, and confident in forging authentic human connections.

That is the marketing disruption I strive for.

My career and passion is to design and execute the relationship between brands and consumers so that it translates into a superior customer experience and a sustainable differentiation for brands.

I am the Chief Marketing Officer, for The Social Loan company (TSLC), a global fintech, and our vision is to revolutionise money so that it benefits every person on the planet. At TSLC, we are continuously disrupting the guardrails of legacy financial systems which are slow, complex, and exclusionary and transform the fundamentals of money and how its distributed so that its honest, affordable, and seamless for everyone. As a marketer, I am excited to create and scale a purpose-led brand driven to make tech-based financial freedom a reality for millions globally.

In previous roles, I have worked across marketing companies, advertising agencies and a brand consultancy. Some of those world-class companies include Bharti airtel, Seagram, Grey Worldwide, Cheil Communications, Draft FCB Ulka and BB&A.

I've been mentee and mentor for the most talented, eccentric, wonderful folks and led some transformational programs at the workplace. It's been a rewarding journey (literally) with accolades that include 'India's Most Influential Digital Media Professional' 'Top 50 Most Influential Strategy leaders APAC' and 'Top 100 Women Leaders 2022'. I also write for publications that include Campaign, WARC, Little Black Book etc. And nothing gives me greater joy than the honour of looking at the best global work and I have been on the jury of Adfest, Creativepool Awards, Immortal Awards, WARC Strategy Awards, the MENA Effies, Pakistan Effies, Global Customer Engagement Awards amongst others.
