Jukin Media’s Get Real with UGC Video Contest

User Generated Content (UGC) is one of the most engaging, trusted and authentic mediums out there. You simply cannot recreate real surprises, real laughs, and real achievements - or for that matter, real fails. Jukin Media’s video catalogue is a wealth of real 'lightning in a bottle" moments and we invite you to use those moments to create either a 15, 30 or 45 second video for ANY brand

We’re challenging creatives to produce an innovative, refreshing and disruptive social media campaign, using as many pieces of the Jukin Media video catalogue as you'd like to tell your story in the most effective and engaging way.

By submitting your film, you could win:

First Prize: £6,000
Second Prize: £2,000 or a 13‑inch MacBook Pro

i.e. Create a campaign that celebrates those people who are, and those who aspire to be, the best they can be.

i.e. Create a campaign about 'connections' and 'family'.

A Financial brand such as Santander, Allianz or HSBC
i.e. Create a campaign about being secure and putting safety first.

A Pet brand such as Pets at Home, Pedigree or Purina
i.e. Create a campaign that speaks to pet owners.

A Food & Beverage brand such as Coca-Cola, Mars or Warburtons
i.e. Create a campaign about flavour and refreshment.

An FMCG brand such as Colgate, Pantene or Gillette
i.e. Create a campaign that disrupts the usual FMCG formula.

A Retail brand such as Tesco, B&Q or the Arcadia Group.
i.e. Create a campaign about convenience.

Each campaign should highlight the brands unique selling point or a theme which drives home the brand's values or product or services’ purpose.

How to Submit

First of all, please read and make sure you understand the Rules of Submission.

Next, head to the Jukin Media UGC Library, sign up and get inspired!

Download your chosen (watermarked) clips to create your submission.

Upload your completed video (or videos) to your Creativepool profile, ensuring it is Only Viewable to Judges.

Finally, click the Submit button at the bottom of the page to sign the Creative Agreement and submit your video (or videos). 

Note: You can make as many submissions as you'd like! Just upload all the videos to your profile before submitting.

Group entries also welcome.

Another note: We will be contacting shortlisted creatives after the brief close to replace your watermarked videos with unwatermarked ones.

The Judging Panel will judge based on creativity, effectiveness, shareability, ‘in-keeping’ with chosen brand’s brand values, the simplicity of message delivery, memorability and effectiveness.

Additional Footage and Effects

We welcome the addition of live footage, animation, motion graphics and music to better contribute to the narrative but at least 80% of your submission should be UGC.
