About me

I am a freelance costume designer and pattern cutter based in east London.

I have experience producing costume and garments for live performances and film, both in the UK and internationally. The costumes I have created have ranged from haute couture garments to avant-garde wearable sculpture and I have had my pieces featured in GQ magazine and displayed at Art Basel.
In my practice I focus on sustainability, so I am able to source or provide advice on eco-friendly materials or work with unconventional materials if this is required. My studio is equipped to handle most sorts of conventional and unconventional materials.

In my work I enjoy working with movement and using this to create a fourth dimension to my work, in order to create a visually arresting performance when the costume is worn. I have a strong technical background so I also enjoy creating more sculptural, abstract pieces too.
