I am a creative copywriter looking for the opportunity to work in a creative environment where creativity and ideas are the main watchwords. I am hard working, and love being challenged with new projects and new ways to utilise my writing skills.

I am passionate about writing, and I operate by the principle that I can always become better. I have the enthusiasm to create the very best copy, and I would like to offer that to prospective employers.

Sector Experience

To highlight the diversity of my work, I have written all of the copy for extremetoronto.com, a web resource for the Toronto extreme sports community, as well as a number of online guides for The Mountain Bike Store. Each of these organisations has its own tone of voice. Writing for extremetoronto, I adopted a somewhat irreverent and cheeky style, whereas when writing for retail website The Mountain Bike Store, user-friendliness and a more widely accessible tone was key. The links to these examples can be found at the bottom of the page, and although they are both long copy, I am also able to produce attention grabbing short copy, appropriate for the online retail consumer. These and other freelance projects have been good practice in forming and maintaining professional relationships, and delivering projects on time and to budget.
